Promotes and markets the Town for potential business and industry. |

Develops, coordinates, administers and markets the Town’s Enterprise Zone (EZ). Attends, coordinates and conducts workshops regarding the EZ; maintains records; prepares annual report. |

Audits records for refunds via various incentives; assists businesses in obtaining state and local incentives. |
|
Works cooperatively with the Halifax County Industrial Development Authority. |
|
Develops strategies for promoting and enhancing the economic development of the Town. |
|

.Develops and maintains marketing materials, brochures, maps, etc. marketing the Town. |
|
Develops and maintains data systems to track the process and progress of economic monitoring, individual building files, photographic documentation of changes, and information on job creation and business retention. |
|
Represents the Town on the Joint Halifax County South Boston Tourism Committee |
