Frances J. Mitchell Walk For Hope
The Frances J. Mitchell Walk for Hope  formally the Senior Exercise Group Walk for Hope was held Saturday, August 1 , 2020  at  the Halifax County Senior High School bus parking lot. The seniors walked and raised money in memory of Ms. Mitchell, who was a long time employee and leader of the SEG at the South Boston Recreation Center. Ms. Mitchell lost her battle to cancer in 2019. The SEG raised over $3,000.00. All proceeds went to the Halifax Cancer Association. .
