Welcome to the Town of South Boston Recreation Department webpage.  Our personnel are dedicated and work hard to provide our community with a variety of activities that help our citizens and families come together while giving our children a safe environment to participate in sports and group activities.  Whether at our Community Center, Recreation Department Facility, one of our several parks, or on our trails we believe you will find something for you and your family to do here in South Boston.

‘Matt’ serves as Director of Parks and Recreation. He has held this position for 30 years. He can reached by email at soborec@southbostonva.us, or by calling (434) 446-1801 or (434) 575-4230. His offices are located at  Washington Coleman Community Center and the South Boston Recreation Center, both on Jeffress Blvd., South Boston, VA.

October 14, 2021 - We are gearing up for our basketball leagues to resume play later this year.  Click here to see important dates for sign-ups and meetings for all of our leagues!
