Health and Wellness Fair

This event will be held at Washington Coleman Community Center on Wednesday, May 17, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Organizations, groups or individuals who would like to help build awareness of health risks and provide information on how an individual can make behavioral changes to enhance his or health are invited to this fair. Drum Camp

                                                June 5-9th, 2017 from 2:15 to 3:00 pm

Children ages 8-14 are invited to join a five (5) session, FREE instruction taught by Mr. Johnny Davis, a former band teacher at the Halifax County High School. All instructions and classes will be utilizing drum pads. No equipment to purchase and the cost is FREE.

Session Dates: June 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 27, 29 from 3:00-4:30 pm
Place: Old Armory

This summer children ages 7-12are invited to enjoy a FREE camp full of fun games such as dodgeball, tag and other fitness games. Also included are literacy and numeracy games to keep young minds geared for the upcoming school year. Camps will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays in the month of June. Taught by Kristy Green, certified fitness instructor.

We are now accepting volunteer junior councilors ages 13-18.
