May 4th Council Election

Current seats held by Ed Owens, Coleman Speece and Bill Snead expire June 30, 2010.

Candidates must be a resident of South Boston and obtain 125 qualified signatures in order to be on the May 4 ballot.

Candidate packets can be obtained from either the Halifax County Voters Registration Office or on-line at Virginia State Board of Elections web site sbe.virginia.gov. Deadline to file candidate petitions is March 2nd.
